CHIMAY HOUTEN VAT CALVADOS
The Grande Réserve from 2023. This edition is refermented in barrels
with particularly fruity aromas. Pleasant aromas of dried apricot,
sweet potato, and ripe pear, characteristic of Calvados, complement each other perfectly.
The chocolate and soft mocha notes give way to a perfectly balanced flavor
of roasted hazelnut and spicy biscuit. All of this is topped with a hint of
vanilla and a light floral note. The bitterness is just enough to create a nice contrast
with the dark candy.
