Gentse Strop is a blond Belgian specialty beer of high fermentation with refermentation in the bottle (6.9% alc vol). It is a proud beer with a fine fruity aroma and a subtle hoppiness.
Smell/aromas: Fairly complex nose with hints of fruit (banana, citrus), herbs, yeast, honey and sweet malt.
Taste: Refreshing mouthfeel, pleasant malty sweet attack followed by spicy and yeasty notes, a medium long aftertaste with a subdued mild hop bitterness.
