Maredsous Brown is a beautiful brown-red beer with a rich, light head. It starts with caramel, immediately followed by a delicate roasted aroma that evokes mocha. The beer is very smooth, not too heavy, yet the alcohol is clearly noticeable. The bitterness comes more from a nutty character combined with the roasted malts used.
