Piedboeuf has been around for over 150 years. The Piedboeuf family's brewing tradition even dates back to before the French Revolution, a time when the family still supplied equipment to breweries. The first Piedboeuf beers were brewed in 1853. From 1905 and over the next 10 years, the brewery made a name for itself far beyond its local area. Shortly after the Stella Artois and Piedboeuf breweries merged in 1988, a modern production site was set up, doubling production capacity.
Today, three different Piedboeuf beers are brewed; Piedboeuf Blond, Piedboeuf Bruin and Piedboeuf Trippel. They are best served at a temperature of 3°C.
